Welcome to My web presence
I’m not sure why I write. A lot of times I hate it, but writing does seem to help me figure out what I think. It also helps me connect with people, which is, ultimately, my goal.
Whether I’m crafting UX copy that blends seamlessly with an interface, helping small businesses and entrepreneurs bring their brand message to life, or giving advice to modern heroines from the perspective of a Jane Austen narrator, I want my writing to provide clarity to the world.
Here, you’ll find a collection of my work from around the internet. Thanks for reading.

Social post
We created this GIF to announce that users could create Facebook and Instagram ads with the mobile app.
I worked with a designer to develop the fake brand Shrub Grub and wrote copy for everything in the social post.
Feature page
When Mailchimp introduced postcards to their suite of features, we wanted our messaging to reflect that we’ve modernized an old-school marketing tactic.
This copy I wrote for the postcards feature page delighted many Mailchimp customers and received some Twitter love.
404 error message
Used this illustration from one of Mailchimp’s designers to inspire my copy for a new 404 page. It’s received love on Twitter and has been included in several best-of roundups.
